Disaster Management
Disaster Management is a generic term for the process(es) by which
an organisation minimises the potential of an adverse event occurring,
optimises the management skills by personnel involved in managing such
situations and expedites so far as is possible the recovery after such incidents.
Disaster Management is vital to business success and it is not only the
concern of the IT department but the entire operations of the business.
A business as a whole must identify and understand possible incidents
that may occur and the direct and indirect impacts they may have on
the firm. The sad fact is that approximately 90% of businesses that
have a significant adverse event cease trading within 12 months.
We are proud of the fact that we have a disaster management plan.
This enables us to plan to recommence working on your behalf in usually
no more than 48 hours after a significant adverse event occurs.
This ensures that your personal and business interests are protected as
far as is responsibly possible and minimises any possibility in such
circumstances for anxiety or financial or other loss to you as our client
and our staff and suppliers.
