The Alternative Investment Market (AIM) is a global market for smaller companies who do not yet wish to have, or do not yet meet the requirements for, a flotation on the full Stock Exchange. The AIM is run by the London Stock Exchange (LSE) although imposes fewer restrictions and requirements on the company seeking the flotation.
